(3) We welcome submission of papers for publication on this website. We encourage innovative, science-based and rational approaches to addressing foundational philosophical and/or religious questions regarding the Universe and life (i.e. the conscious world). We offer US$1,000 reward for each accepted submission. We hope to publish 1,000 such submissions on this website. Limitations and restrictions apply. For detail, please go to the “Paper Submission” under “Your Involvements.”
We also welcome submissions of video for (a) inclusion in the “Finding GUTUL” channel on youtube.com and (b) publication on this website. All rules and regulations (including those on reward) detailed in “Paper Submission” on this website apply to video submission with the exception that (a) the video shall relate to GUTUL, (b) it is in the mp4 format and less than 100 MB in size, (c) please submit your video or its link to [email protected], and (d) NERRI, Inc. retains the right to add a thumbnail and/or a watermark of its choice for publication on the “Finding GUTUL” channel on youtube.com.
(4) A Special Event – “Finding GUTUL” Award. The “Finding GUTUL” or “GUTUL Series” videos posted on YouTube.com (in a channel named “Finding GUTUL”) and bilibili.com started on September 8, 2020 and will have about 20 topics. Some topics have two parts. Each video contains pictures taken at various locations. Please note that bilibili.com may not allow the posting of all videos. We will make every effort to post all videos on this website in the “Videos” section. It’s an individual’s responsibility to gain access to all “Finding GUTUL” or “GUTUL Series” videos. Many videos have a Chinese version and an English version; the pictures in the Chinese and English versions are the same and will be counted as one location. The “Finding GUTUL” Award will be given to four individuals who have received the highest points by identifying the locations correctly. The individual receiving the highest point will be awarded $4,000, the individual receiving the second highest point $3,000, the individual receiving the third highest point $2,000, and the individual receiving the fourth highest point $1,000. To receive points, each location needs to be identified correctly by its town/city, state/province and region/country and the name of the waterway, a river, lake or ocean, if it appears in the photo. The first individual who identifies a location correctly will receive 20 points, the second 19 points, the third 18 points, and so on; the 20th individual 1 point. Please send your location answer (including the topic and part in which the picture appears) to [email protected]. An ending date for “Finding GUTUL” Award will be announced later. NERRI, Inc. is the sole administrator for the “Finding GUTUL” Award and reserves the right to cancel the “Finding GUTUL” Award anytime with or without cause. No one in association with NERRI, Inc. in any capacity will be allowed to compete for the Award. Individuals who are related as parents, children, spouses or siblings will be counted as one individual entry. Each awardee will need to provide his/her real name, copy of an official identification document, address and bank account information. The location of the photo used in the thumbnail will be counted only once even though it appears repeatedly in many videos. The photos of Laozi riding cattle will be counted only once too.
Wherever the US currency is used on the website, it could mean the equivalent local currency of the reward or the scholarship recipient. The website and NERRI, Inc. may remit in whichever currency of its choice.
The scholarship program and the call for papers are open to scholars of all countries and territories.
