Guidelines for Scholarship Application
NERRI offers scholarship for qualified students pursuing an accredited Bachelor, Master or Doctoral degree in the fields of philosophy, religion and humanity. Please include in your application: (1) the title and an abstract of your thesis and the degree program for which the thesis is required, (2) a brief description of your institution and department, (3) your name and your resume, (4) your thesis advisor’s name and his/her Curriculum Vitae, (5) your research plan and time line, and (6) a verification and supporting letter from the head of your department or institution.
Our representative may conduct applicant interviews and site visits.
The scholarship offer depends on the length of time projected for the completion of your thesis and degree. As a guidance, it will be (1) about US$2,000 for completing a Bachelor thesis and degree, (2) about US$4,000 for completing a Master thesis and degree, and (3) about US$8,000 for completing a Doctoral thesis and degree. The scholarship will be dispensed by NERRI, Inc. on a quarterly basis after receiving a satisfactory quarterly progress report from the scholarship recipient.
The application, quarterly reports and thesis can be written in English and/or Chinese. NERRI, Inc. and/or nerri.org have the sole discretion and right in determining if and when to offer and terminate a scholarship without cause.
